Who We Are
Blue Sky Church is a unique Christian church in Loveland that is doing church differently. Services are designed for everyone to enjoy whether you have been going to church your entire life, or have never been before. We have a passion for the arts, creativity and culture. Good music, personal expression and multimedia are a big part of how we communicate. We focus on practical teachings that are meaningful to your life. Please take a look around and learn more about the Blue Sky community.
Our Values
- Personal communion with God, by developing a relationship with Jesus.
- Demonstrating compassion to others by taking action.
- Engaging in conversation with others about Jesus.
- Creating an authentic relationship-based community.
- Discovering your calling and living out the purpose of your life.
Our Mission
Mission describes what a church is supposed to do. The mission of Blue Sky Church is “Creating Community to Worship God.” Everything about Blue Sky is designed to create a sense of community – a place where people from all walks of life can feel comfortable, be themselves and develop relationships. By creating this unique community of authentic people, we can see real spiritual growth, find clear answers and experience changed lives.
Our Vision
Vision describes what a church hopes to be and thus has a future orientation. Our hope is that Blue Sky would be a church who continually rediscovers the person of God, rediscovers how to be the church and also rediscovers God design in our lives. In other words, we are a hungry community never complacent in our pursuit of knowing God. We have a phrase which we use often –our vision is to "rediscover God in the wild blue wonder." This place of wonder is a lifestyle of worship living out the presence of God.
Our Beliefs
Among our basic beliefs, Blue Sky believes in: one God, the perfect creator of all things; Jesus Christ, the divine/human one, who died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins; the ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify Jesus; the Bible as God's word completely trustworthy in all areas of life and Salvation for those who receive Jesus Christ. Visit the Evangelical Free Church Association’s Web site for a complete, detailed list of our shared beliefs.
What Can I Expect?
You can expect a comfortable, non-judgmental atmosphere where people from many walks of life can be themselves, develop relationships and worship. Our setting is a mid-century sanctuary mixed with the artistic and musical technology of the modern world. The feel is energetic like a concert at times, and yet it can feel reflective as many have said that “God is in this place and the community is real.”
You can also expect an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging; regardless of your personal and spiritual background, you are welcome at Blue Sky. Most importantly, you can expect practical teaching that is meaningful in today's culture and applicable to everyday life.
What Does Blue Sky Offer My Children?
We provide a safe, clean, caring and educational environment for children from birth through age 9. Friendly and nurturing leaders provide personal care for each child so parents can feel confident that their children are in good hands. Children learn about Jesus by participating in worship through songs, arts and crafts. Bible teachings are presented in fun, age-appropriate lessons that help children apply these truths to their lives.

Blue Sky also offers a community for the youth called “Wired.” This zany, enthusiastic community celebrates life while going deep in the teachings of Jesus. Stay tuned for our Summer 2010 Calendar
Gathering Times and Location
Blue Sky Church meets on Saturdays at 6:00 PM in Loveland Bible's worship space at the corner of Adams Avenue and E. 4th St. in Loveland. This is right across the Chilson Center. Full children's ministry is available during the service for children 0-9.
What Should I Wear?
Blue Sky Church offers a laid back, casual atmosphere - so please don’t worry about what you wear. Leave the suit at home (or wear one if you’re more comfortable that way). We are more interested in worship and changed lives than fashion.
