Kids Costume Party in the Rearview
To start off, let me give a big thanks to all of those who tireless served at our Costume Party 'Space Adventure' this year. For those who could not make it, let me give you a little glimpse of the night.
Entering the building felt like entering another galaxy. Planets were suspended from the ceiling, dangling astronauts and space ships were igniting the imaginations of the kids, and our atrium windows unfurled the the story of 'Astronaut Alex' and his space adventure. All of the kids received a quality candy bag, a glow necklace, and amassed as much candy as they could carry off for the night. There were inflatables for every age (supervised by members of the church, many whom help teach the kids during Sunday services). Tucked around the lobby were cozy nooks for parents to sit back, relax, and enjoy some good food and coffee/tea while the kids burnt off some energy...and some of that sugar.
To sum it up, it was a great night! If you ever want more information, ask anyone around Blue Sky and you'll see that glimmer of glee light up their eyes as they describe a party YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO MISS.
