Newborn to 17 months

We strive for Blue Sky's nursery to be a safe and warm environment where babies can be nurtured and grow, where you as a parent can feel completely at ease leaving your child. We have a variety of bouncers and swings, a safe and comfortable area for crawlers, and lots of baby toys and books. We value personal attention for our babies.

When you drop off your child in the nursery, they will be received and cared for by teachers and assistants we know and trust, and who have been thoroughly trained by our Kids' Program director and team leaders. Our iPad-based check-in system provides for a safe and secure drop off and pick up of your child at the classroom. It also enables us to page you directly to your cell phone if your child needs you for any reason.

When and how can I place my child in the nursery?

Our nursery workers will be ready to welcome your child up to 20 minutes before the service begins. You can drop your child off any time during the service.

If it is your first time at Blue Sky, you can register with one of our Kids' Hosts at the entrance to the kids’ space. If you would prefer to register beforehand, you may complete the online registration form and then check in with a kids' program host when you arrive.

After registering your child, you can drop in and meet the teachers and assistants that will be caring for your child before checking them in for class. Your child's teacher will ask questions to help them effectively love and nurture your kids so you can enjoy the adult service. You may leave a diaper bag with your child and provide any directions regarding naps, feeding, or allergies. We have a parents’ room attached to the nursery if you need somewhere to feed or calm your baby during the service. We have also provided a private area for nursing moms adjacent to the women’s restroom for your convenience.

Shortly after the adult service ends, you should return to your child's class with your parent receipt you received when checking them in earlier. The nursery workers will have your child smiling and ready for you when you arrive.
